When you challenge your body to lift a heavier weight, learn a new routine, or run faster, it's during the time at rest that your mind and body are able to adapt and improve.

Here’s the truth, giving it your all, all the time, won't get you closer to your fitness goals. In fact, if you overtrain, it can actually become harder to reach your goals!

Meet Nalicia Stevenson Addo, The Facilitator of The Importance of Rest

Hello, my name is Nalicia. It is my honor and privilege to share with you my perspective, in regards to leadership. I have spent the last 20 years in Corporate America as an Engineer and Senior Safety Professional. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Hampton University in Virginia. Also, I am a mother of two sons, a licensed realtor and real estate investor.

In 2018 I became a certified John Maxwell coach, speaker, and trainer. The reason that I joined the John Maxwell Team was to become a better public speaker, communicator, influencer and to position myself for roles on a regional, national and global level. With my goal-oriented life stance and passion for continuously learning, I feel that I am strategically positioned to help others reach their full potential and excel in their endeavors. Recently, I established NERSA Leadership Consulting. My mission is to equip my clients with the tools necessary to enhance their productivity, influence, decision making and leadership qualities.
